1652 Massachusetts Oak Tree Shilling, IN at Bottom, rare Noe-12, R6. 71.0 grains. A solid example of this rare Oak Tree shilling variety. Nicely centered and with strong detail for the variety. Full legends and date, nearly complete border beads, and a few traces of the typically weak oak tree. Original deep gray with golden-olive overtones. A few pecks marks and natural flan flaw at 11 o'clock.
