John is the owner and operator of Lost Dutchman Rare Coins. He graduated from Lawrence Central High school in 1975 and has been a lifelong resident of central Indiana. John is a specialist in antique and collectible watches. John is available by appointment only for watch appraisals.
Matt Dinger has been a professional numismatist since age 15 when he began selling coins. His talent was evident early on and by age 22 he was running Lost Dutchman Rare Coins. At age 31 he has more than 15 years of numismatic experience under his belt. He has been featured in the Indianapolis Business Journal, Coin World Magazine, The Numismatist Magazine, CoinAge Magazine, Wall Street Journal and various other publications. Matt is also the past president of the Indianapolis Coin Club and is a member of the American Numismatic Association, Central States Numismatic Society, PCGS, CAC, CCE, & NGC. He attends almost every major coin convention all over the United States. In 2009 with his guidance Lost Dutchman Rare Coins was nominated (and won) the best antique and collectible store in Indianapolis by the WRTV 6 A List. Currently Matt is one of the host of “The Coin Show” which is an online numismatic radio show. Matt is available to help you with your coin needs 5 days a week at Lost Dutchman Rare Coins.
Evan is a lifelong resident of Hancock county and is a senior numismatist at Lost Dutchman. Evan is a highly talented numismatic professional with knowledge of both coins and paper money. Evan is a graduate of the American Numismatic Association Summer Seminar program for advanced coin grading. Evan is a member of the American Numismatic Association and The Central States Numismatic Society.
Ron Jackson is from Beech Grove and is one of the one of our part time team members. Ron is charge of preparing and maintaining a fresh supply of inventory. Ron is an experienced coin enthusiast with particular knowledge of Morgan Dollar varieties and toned coins.
Ed Absolutely loves coins! Ed is originally from Fort Lauderdale but is now a resident of Lawrence. Ed is a lifelong coin collector and also a specialist in stamps. Ed handles all of our stamp appraisals and is is available Fridays and Saturdays during normal store hours. Please make an appointment for stamp collections!
